Kimberley Clarke
is an author, teacher and performer. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, but currently living in West Vancouver, British Columbia, she began writing at the age of 10.
Despite thinking she would grow up to be a bacteriologist, stories won out. Kim’s Grade 10 teacher encouraged her to write by suggesting she submit stories to contests. This award streak continued as she won poetry awards throughout University.
Her career in theatre includes writing Family Album, produced and performed by Black Hole Theatre Company and The Vancouver Little Theatre. She has directed musical theatre productions at Churchill High School in Winnipeg: Carousel, South Pacific, and Bye Bye Birdie.
Kim works as a high school teacher while writing The Addie Sinclair Series. Kim loves to teach, to learn, and to read… and loves shoes, a little too much!
